Anyone using colloidal silver as a therapeutic treatment for UTI?

I get urinary tract infections all the time and am tired of taking antibiotics all the time.
A friend suggested taking colloidal silver. I have heard many good things but one of the side effects is turning blue but only if you take too much. Is this true?
So i was just looking for some feed back from other people taking this product or know about it.
I know a few people who have done that and told me it worked.
I however have not needed to do it
As far as the turning blue thing goes; that’s basically propoganda from the medical establishment to protect their market.
I think about 6 people total have had that happen to them, and all of them used a lot of it daily for years, and most important used a bad grade home made version (whereas with properly made CS the particles are too small to store in the skin).
